Muscle Building Regimen

The What, Hows, and Whys of My Muscle Building Supplementation

What I use:
My supplements consist of All American EFX products. I take the EFX multivitamin (V&M) and Liquid Beef Aminos (strawberry or vanilla). Flex Wheeler Signature Series (FWSS) Kre-Alkalyn Pro, Cell Rush with Beta Alanine and Liquid Glutamine.  NF Pro Protein Powder or IG Elite Protein Powder.

How I use them:
I take the multivitamin first thing in the morning. I pour the strawberry liquid aminos in my water, add lemon or mix with sugar-free lemonade, and sip it throughout the day and during my workout. It tastes like a strawberry lemonade slush. I may also mix the vanilla liquid aminos with a sugar free orange drink and it tastes like an orange creamsicle or a 50-50 bar. I take the Cell rush with Beta Alanine post workout or I will take glutamine. I also supplement 2 meals per day with NF Pro Vanilla or Chocolate protein shake or with the IG Elite Protein. Depending on the amount of muscle mass I am carrying, I may also take Kre-Alkalyn Pro pre-workout for increased energy and to help with muscle growth.

Why I use them:
I take a multi vitamin to restore the vitamins I will be using throughout the day and for increased energy. Liquid aminos are to prevent my body from going catabolic and burn muscle rather than fat. They help in retaining the muscle I have worked to build. Glutamine is taken to help muscles recover and repair faster after being fatigued and taken to decrease soreness. Beta Alanine is is also a recovery supplement that helps reduce acidity in the muscles and increase the production of carnosine which is an amino acid that aids in muscle building. Kre-alkalyn is a ph-buffered creatine that helps my body build muscle mass. (Ph-buffered creatine does not have the side effects such as bloating and dehydration that was problematic in older versions of creatine). Finally, I take a quality whey protein powder as a means of replacing 2 meals throughout the day. It is a convenient way consuming my daily intake of protein. The only difference between the NF Pro Protein and the IG Elite is that the Elite contains more carbohydrates and keeps me satiated for a longer period of time.
