Stop Wasting My time

As I was leaving the gym this afternoon. A lady who has been with her trainer for over 3 (with minimal progress) stopped me. The following is the conversation that ensued:

TIME WASTER: "How are you able to stay so fit all of the time?
ME: "I eat clean 90% of the time."
TIME WASTER: "What do I need to eat to be like that? Protein shakes?"
ME: "I can’t tell you what to eat b/c I don’t know your health history, food history, or level of activity."
TIME WASTER: "I eat really good but have gained 10 lbs."
ME: "What do you eat?"
TIME WASTER: "Well I didn’t eat too good over the weekend. And I didn’t eat good on Monday or Wednesday of last week."
ME: "Well it sounds like you already know what you need to do…clean up your nutrition."
TIME WASTER: "I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks. I had stuffed olives, sun dried tomatoes (in oil) and bread for my snack."
ME: "Snack!?"
TIME WASTER: "Yes. I eat peanut butter and avacados too."
ME: "Ma’am, it seems like you have a lot of fat in your diet."
TIME WASTER: "Yes, I know I have too much."
ME: "Then it sounds like you already know what to do. Please excuse, I’ve got to go!"

This is the type of conversation can be very unnerving. She already knows what she is doing wrong, but is just hoping that me or someone else who is in shape will tell her she can continue to eat like a savage beast and drop weight. People like that just need to take some time out of the gym, get themselves together, and please stop wasting our time!
